Job Title Digger Driver Location : Worth Matravers, Dorset Salary : £35,000 – £38,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent About the role: We are seeking an experienced Digger Driver with a strong background in quarrying to join our team. Knowledge of Purbeck Limestone Quarrying is highly preferred. If you have the skills and expertise to operate heavy machinery in a quarry setting and understand the nuances of working with Purbeck limestone, we want to hear from you! Duties and Responsibilities: Operate an excavator efficiently and safely to extract and load materials in a quarry environment. Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure safety and performance. Collaborate with management and agree the best game plan for working the quarry and dealing with the various challenges. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Contribute to general quarry operations and support site-specific requirements. About you: Proven experience operating diggers/excavators in a quarry setting (minimum 2 years).
