Your new role
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for site and office roles
  • Handle employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, and welfare matters
  • Support training and development initiatives including apprenticeships and graduate schemes
  • Coordinate performance reviews and identify skills development opportunities
  • Manage employee lifecycle events – promotions, transfers, and leavers
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Advise managers and staff on HR policies and employment legislation
  • Contribute to policy development and deliver HR training to line managers
  • Monitor labour market trends to support workforce planning and retention
  • Promote employee engagement and support company-wide initiatives

What you\’ll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Experience in recruitment and selection at all levels, employee relations issues and training and development activities and initiatives.
  • A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • A professional and organised approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Full awareness of the need for integrity and confidentiality in HR activities
  • A good problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to work with changing demands and priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience of HR systems.
  • Commitment to undertaking travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
