Are you an experienced leader with a passion for student welfare and smooth operational management? Join us as a Student Services Director for our dynamic Young Learner programme!

This key role ensures the delivery of outstanding pastoral care, welfare services, and administrative operations in a residential setting, creating an enriching environment for students aged 7-17 from across the globe. You will live on-site to help create a supportive, safe and fun environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and run the course office, maintaining efficient administrative services.
  • Liaise with host school representatives to manage facilities, catering, cleaning, and security.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics, including student transfers and resource management.
  • Induct, and manage a team of Houseparents and Course Assistants, conducting observations and providing constructive feedback.

Student Welfare

  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students, managing risk assessments and adherence to policies.
  • Address student emergencies and provide appropriate supervision and discipline as needed.

About You

  • Proven track record in pastoral care, team leadership, and office administration; experience in a residential or school setting is desired.
  • Expertise in working with young learners and delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Exceptional organisation and leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced unpredictable residential environment that requires creative problem solving and occasional on-call work.
  • Proficient IT and interpersonal skills.
  • Safeguarding training and First Aid certification is desired.
