This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to take the next step in their career and play a key role in managing and developing our audit department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and charities.
  • Plan, lead, and finalise audit engagements from start to finish as Audit Manager.
  • Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing support, coaching, and development.
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and providing insightful, practical advice.
  • Ensure audits are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal audit processes and systems.

About You:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with several years’ post-qualification experience in audit within a UK practice environment.
  • Proven experience in managing audit assignments, acting as Audit Manager and leading a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
