Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and charities.
- Plan, lead, and finalise audit engagements from start to finish as Audit Manager.
- Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing support, coaching, and development.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and providing insightful, practical advice.
- Ensure audits are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal audit processes and systems.
About You:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with several years’ post-qualification experience in audit within a UK practice environment.
- Proven experience in managing audit assignments, acting as Audit Manager and leading a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
