Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate andreliable Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient Day Treatment Center servinggeriatric patients in New York City, NY. This is alocums-to-permanent position, ideal for an experienced nurse who is passionateabout working with older adults in a community-based clinical setting.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM –5:00 PM (No nights or weekends)
Compensation: $50–$60+ / hour, pendingexperience
Employment Type: Full-Time,Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications accordingto prescribed treatment plans
- Perform phlebotomy (nocertification required) and EKGs
- Support Medical Assistants asneeded in daily clinic operations
- Complete prior authorizations andassist with care coordination
- Conduct triage, escalate concerns,and communicate directly with PCPs
- Provide patient and familyeducation regarding diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintain inventory by performingordering and auditing of clinical supplies
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license inthe state of New York
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursingexperience, preferably in outpatient or geriatric settings
- Strong clinical judgment,communication, and organizational skills
