Job Description
A California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Murrieta, CA. This role is a full-time, on-site contract position for the 2023-2024 school year, serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment involves a shared caseload split 50/50, with daily work hours set at 7.5 hours, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades TK-5.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing appropriate goals.
- Deliver services exclusively on-site; virtual therapies are not accepted for this role.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably with elementary school-age children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 25-26 students with a balanced workload.
