Job Description
Perform MIG welds on 18-gauge mild steel and 1/2 inch mild steel, fabricating and welding parts/assemblies for pavement maintenance equipment, safety railings, and other pavement machine components and assemblies. Perform butt and fill welds, along with grinding and finishing on parts.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welds on various thicknesses of mild steel.
- Fabricate and weld parts for pavement maintenance equipment.
- Conduct butt and fill welds consistently.
- Grind and finish welded parts as necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of MIG welding experience and/or technical degree.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- MIG welding on mild steel is a plus.
- Experience with flux core and stainless steel welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and using a tape measure.
- Experience with sheet metal.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.00/hr.
