We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician who can diagnose and repair commercial chillers, HVAC units (rooftop and mini-split), firing furnaces, refrigeration equipment, and dehumidification systems. The role includes providing service for makeup air units and performing preventative maintenance. Candidates should be prepared to handle other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial chillers and HVAC units.
- Perform diagnosis of firing furnaces and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct diagnosis and service of dehumidification systems.
- Provide service and maintenance for makeup air units.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Perform welding, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting on 3-phase systems.
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment, conveyors, and motors.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of industrial HVAC experience required; 5+ years preferred.
- Ability to diagnose furnaces, chillers, and HVAC units.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a Journeyman's card or certificate is a plus.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility is advantageous.

Work Environment
The role is based in a larger union facility with a flexible shift system. Unlimited overtime is available, with 20 minutes paid lunch and 1-3 ten-minute paid breaks. You will start on the 1st shift for training and must be open to all shifts due to union bidding. The 3rd shift runs from 11pm to 7am, with a $1 shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The facility is a part of a global leader in investment casting, playing a vital role in aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications.
