Junior Accountant – Fort Worth, TX
Full-Time | In-Office | Investment/Family Office
LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a highly respected investment firm and family office in Fort Worth, TX, to identify a talented Junior Accountant. This full-time, in-office opportunity is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the financial operations of a multi-entity corporate organization.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of GAAP and be capable of managing a variety of accounting duties with accuracy and discretion.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work will be diverse and meaningful. Core duties include:

Preparing journal entries and reconciling various financial accounts
-
Processing of accounts payable invoices
-
Managing bank, credit card, and broker statement reconciliations

Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
-
Assisting in the documentation and reconciliation of intercompany transactions

Providing backup to other accounting functions
-
Developing tax-related workpapers and schedules
-
Offering suggestions for streamlining procedures and updating internal manuals
-
Maintaining general ledgers for multiple entities
-
Staying current with evolving technology and accounting standards to enhance department efficiency
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

At least 1+ year of hands-on accounting experience

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
