CNC Press Brake Operator
Location: Grand Forks, ND
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
About the Role:
Express is partnering with a a trusted manufacturer in Grand Forks, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment. This is a full-time position with consistent overtime and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal parts according to specifications
- Follow designated sequences to ensure precise and efficient fabrication
- Interpret and work from shop drawings to produce high-quality, conforming parts
- Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure tolerances are met
- Perform spot checks and quality inspections throughout the production process
- Set work priorities to meet production deadlines
- Assist with receiving, handling, and maintaining steel inventory
- Support customers and fabricators with steel and project orders as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills and the ability to read shop drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods
- Willingness to learn forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment
- Valid driver's license required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts plus 1 hour of daily overtime
