Job Description
- Develop supply and capacity plans based on engineering documentation and production requirements.
- Use capacity models and planning systems to drive tactical operating plans for manufacturing.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, safety stocks, and order policies to meet performance targets.
- Commit to customer shipment dates and manage schedule change requests.
- Track progress of the supply plan and implement recovery actions for delays.
- Identify and manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory items; support disposition decisions.
- Prepare cost proposals for customer RFQs and support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
- Contribute to financial reporting including intercompany revenue forecasts and Receipt to Stock (RTS) projections.
- Provide inputs to annual budgeting and standard cost processes.
- Track and report key performance metrics (delivery, inventory, quote response).
- Support ongoing improvement of planning processes and systems.
- Solve routine problems using established procedures; contribute to project and organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and customer service teams.
- Associate’s degree with relevant experience (minimum requirement).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a Technical field.
- Experience in scheduling, production planning, or logistics.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems and planning software.
- Familiarity with SAP (preferably S4 HANA).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including handling ambiguous information.
- Experience in data analysis or working in analytical roles.
