Job Description
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine. This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Five-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer
Schedule: Full time, take control of your day with flexible scheduling options
Pay: $38.00 to $40.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Home Health Registered Nurse:
· Provide skilled nursing services to the patient in their own home under the direction of a physician’s plan of care.
· Develop plans of care with realistic/measurable outcomes in collaboration with the patient/family.
· Provide education and promote patient’s rights and responsibilities for informed decision making in the plan of care.
· Assess and identify the patient’s holistic health care needs.
· Demonstrate competency in assessment and technical skills.
· Possess and utilize knowledge of pain control & symptom management.
· Ability to utilize and challenge your skills in the home or community setting.
· More 1:1 time with patients, working autonomously in the comfort of their home.
Qualifications for the Home Health Registered Nurse:
· Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.
· ANA certification in Home Health or Community Health Nursing is encouraged.
· Current CPR card required.
· One year of recent clinical nursing experience is required.
· A reliable car with insurance.
