LHH Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for a high-performing manufacturing facility in Youngstown, Ohio.

This role is ideal for a quality-driven professional with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong foundation in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing industry, along with Green or Black Belt certification and relevant quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation including control plans, FMEAs, and inspection procedures.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits for regulatory and customer compliance.

  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive process improvements.

  • Support new product introductions by establishing quality standards and validation protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Certified Green Belt or Black Belt in Six Sigma.

  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
