Now Hiring: Lead Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work and teamwork? Join us as a Lead Technician, where your skills in painting, drywall repair, and light carpentry will help prepare homes for new residents and keep our community running smoothly.

You’ll be based at a mix use complex in Albany, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of 3–5 technicians who take pride in doing things right.

Responsibilities

  • Tackle a variety of repair tasks including painting, patching, and light carpentry.
  • Get units move-in ready by fixing up interiors before new leases begin.
  • Support and guide fellow technicians—sharing your knowledge and helping the team grow.
  • Handle basic maintenance like replacing lightbulbs, locks, and appliances.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and ensure they have what they need to get the job done.
  • Pitch in with janitorial duties like trash removal and general upkeep.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in painting, carpentry, or general contracting.
  • A valid state-issued license.
  • A solid track record in appliance repair, light fixtures, or remodeling work.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to lead by example.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $24.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
