Overview
Are you an experienced HGV driver? We are seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Transport Team based at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire on a full time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities
You will be working as part of the team at Peel Ports Logistics, liaising closely with all of Peel Ports Group Terminals. You will liaise directly with our transport planners to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring delivery of commodities safely and on time.
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, the majority of the driving will be carried out within the local, surrounding areas, however on occasions you may be required to travel further with the occasional overnight stay.
Qualifications
- A driver CPC Qualification, holding a DQC Card
- Previous driving experience
- A Clean Class 1 C&E Driving Licence, with experience in Bulk Tipping / Container Experience
- The ability to work under pressure with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management, planning and organisation skills
- A good UK geographical knowledge
