Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards while delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee construction projects including roads, bridges, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
- Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software for design and drafting.
- Conduct geotechnical analysis and assessments for project development.
- Perform cost estimation and budget management for assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Experience in geotechnical engineering and wastewater management.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
