Job Description
A School Physical Therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Olympia, WA, serving K-12 students. This full-time contract role runs from September 2nd to June 12th, with Monday through Friday shifts, 7 hours per day, in-person. The position involves working with approximately 30-35 students with a wide range of disabilities, focusing on improving motor skills, mobility, and physical function to enhance students independence within the educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized assessments and direct therapy services to PreK-12+ students.
- Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Supporting the implementation of the School Districts Strategic Plan and School Improvement Plans.
- Participating in all phases of the special education process, including identification and consultation.
- Occasionally traveling to multiple district locations to deliver services.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Certificate as an Educational Staff Associate with a Physical Therapist endorsement.
- Prior experience in school physical therapy preferred.

- Skilled in assessment, evaluation, and consultation in educational settings.
