Position Overview:
Herbert Roofing, a leading residential retail roofing contractor, is seeking a highly organized and energetic Production Coordinator to support the General Manager and ensure roofing projects are scheduled, resourced, and executed smoothly. This role is critical to meeting monthly revenue targets and maintaining outstanding service quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the administrative assistant to the General Manager, assisting with daily coordination and communication.
- Schedule roofing project installations to optimize crew and material use and achieve monthly revenue goals.
- Order and track materials for roofing projects, coordinating with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- File and track building permits across multiple municipalities.
- Schedule and manage dumpster deliveries and pickups for job sites.
- Maintain detailed project records, including timelines, permits, and material orders.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and homeowners to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Assist with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, or production coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with construction management software is a plus (but not required).
