Job Description
A Registered Nurse with certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) or equivalent school nursing experience is sought to provide essential healthcare services in a K-8 educational setting in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week beginning ASAP for the Extended School Year (ESY), with expected extension into the Normal School Year (NSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general school nursing duties to ensure student health and safety
- Oversee and manage the schools wellness program and initiatives
- Implement and monitor specialized healthcare procedures for students with medical needs
- Coordinate and conduct health screenings, identifying potential issues early
