This position is based in the finishing department of a facility that specializes in rotational molding. The facility produces plastic molds for air filters, and the finishing assembler is responsible for installing accessories, conducting visual inspections to ensure correct parts are installed, and trimming excess plastic. The role includes handling components brought over from the CNC/machining team.

Responsibilities

  • Cut excess pieces from the filter element using hand tools and scissors.
  • Use work instructions to attach the correct parts to the housing with hand and power tools, glue, and griddle for assembly.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure correct components are installed and check for discrepancies such as unsightly seams, wrong size components, or excess plastic bits.
  • Print labels, package filters, label boxes, and prepare them for material handlers to take to the shipping dock.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools, such as torque drivers and plastic mallets.
  • Experience using trim tools and propane torch.
  • Ability to perform visual inspections and follow written and verbal work instructions.

Available Shift & Pay

  • 1st shift: 7AM-3PM Mon-Fri,
    • But they are currently working OT, so the schedule is 5AM-3PM Mon-Sat
  • $18.53/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.53 – $18.53/hr.
