Job Description
Gojob is hiring Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a leading logistics warehouse located in Berea, OH. You will be responsible for moving products throughout the site and loading or unloading materials using a sit-down forklift or other heavy material handling equipment. You will also be expected to spend 20% of your time off the lift performing general warehouse duties. See full description for all expected duties.
Shift & Pay:
- This facility uses an alternating, 3 day on / 4 day off – 4 day on / 3 day off schedule
- Every other weekend off!
- 2nd Shift: 6pm – 6am – $18/hr

Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Securing loads to equipment before transport.
- Inspecting inventory for damages or defects
- Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
- Operating R/F scanner or tablets on forklift to manage inventory
- Managing inventory by using a state-of-the-art warehouse management system
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
- Operating equipment in a safe manner and participating in safety meetings
- Perform regular cleaning of warehouse and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid fork-lifting certificate preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
- Good physical condition.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.
