Seeking recent graduates, Paraprofessionals, Direct Support Professionals, Habilitation Technicians, Personal Care Aides, Nurse’s Aides, Caregivers, those caring for a family member, and those interested in working with individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs).

BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Caregiver for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities. Compassionate caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction, striving to uplift and empower the people they support. Our caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community.

Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required – We are committed to investing in and nurturing our team members’ desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.

  • Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.

  • Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.

  • Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.

  • Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our on-staff nurse and managers.

  • Provide personal care assistance as needed

Compensation & Schedule:

Qualifications:

  • One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Be at least 18 years of age
