Job Description
ACSW, AMFT, APCC (or LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
Sierra Health and Wellness uses evidence-based methods to restore families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming character, we give life back to people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues.
Our Veteran inpatient facility houses 16 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. 15 acres, located in scenic Bangor, (15 minutes outside of Oroville). Neighboring our drug and alcohol facility is our 6 bed mental health facility. This position would be primarily assigned to our Mental Health facliity.
Position Available:
- Full time- Sunday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm

Essential Functions:
- Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
- Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
- Works as a team member with other professionals
- Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
- Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
- Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
- Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
- Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
- Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
- Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
- Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
- Perform job duties under stressful conditions
- May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Education and minimum qualification:

Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling

Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences

Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required)

Salary: $72,000-$108,000 (This salary range is for 40 hours per week)
