We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Warehouse Coordinator in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting role is a blend of physical activity, coordination, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring that all products are stored correctly and inventory is accurately tracked. This position requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Responsibilities
1. Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of products, etc.
2. Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
3. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met.
5. Implement and uphold safety and hygiene regulations.
6. Use ERP systems to coordinate and plan warehousing and inventory management tasks.
7. Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and organized.
8. Coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements.
9. Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations to management.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse coordinator role or similar position in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management and planning.
3. Valid certification to operate forklifts.
4. Proven ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
5. Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.
10. Proven experience in cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
11. Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
12. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in making rapid decisions in a high-pressure environment.
