About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer with a strong presence in the Pittsburgh region, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of engineers and technical professionals. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving innovation, optimizing production processes, and ensuring engineering excellence across operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and R&D to support product development and process optimization.

Implement and maintain best practices in engineering standards, safety, and compliance.

Manage budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.

Serve as a technical advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on emerging technologies and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

7+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven track record in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably with exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Strong project management skills and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
