Job Description
A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support high school students in and around Hampshire, IL, including Aurora and nearby munities. This contract position runs from August 4, 2025, through June 6, 2026, offering approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week aligned with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective munication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, educators, and staff using sign language interpretation.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school personnel to ensure students have equal access to educational content.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in interpreting, maintaining confidentiality.
