Early Years Teaching Assistant – Wirral Primary School
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 8:30am- 3:30pm
Qualification Required: Minimum Level 2 in Childcare or Early Years
Contract Type: Full-time, term-time only

Desian Education is recruiting a nurturing and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Wirral, starting in September 2025.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a play-based environment and is dedicated to giving children the best possible start in life.
Your Role Will Include:

Supporting learning through play and structured activities

Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development

Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development

Working collaboratively with the class teacher and Early Years staff

Providing feedback on children’s progress and behaviour
What We’re Looking For:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent

Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting
