Job Details
Hospital in Virginia is searching for a full-time locum tenens OB/GYN to join their team of Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwives.
Job Details:
- Immediate need, Emergency Privileges available
- 24hr Call Coverage for L & D and ED.
o Provider is second call behind the Midwife
o Call is Taken from the hotel, approximately 2 miles from the hospital
o Primary need is Call coverage. May have some clinic
- Full-time Need. Will consider minimum of 1 week per month
- Pediatrician available for birth
- In-house anesthesia providers
- No circumcisions
- No scheduled cases
- LOW volumes
- ER Backup
Facility details:
- 110 bed acute care facility
- Emergency privileges available
- Primary call/labor and delivery coverage by experienced CNMs
- Newly renovated, spacious clinic within house ultrasound and lab
- Remote and 2x monthly on-site consultation with University of Virginia (UVA) MFM Service
- daVinci® Surgical System access and Level II NICU with neonatal transport team (1-hour drive)
