Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established firm located near Schoharie, NY that is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking for a collaborative, client-focused environment with room for growth.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Assist with tax planning, projections, and advisory services
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Communicate directly with clients to address tax questions and provide guidance
- Perform tax research and stay up to date with changes in tax laws
- Support and mentor junior staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- CPA required or in active pursuit of certification
- 3–5 years of experience in tax preparation and review (public accounting experience highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
