ProCare Therapy is working with a local school district to hire a qualified Special Education Teacher. The teacher must have an active teaching certificate from the Illinois Department of Education.
Those employed for the available positions will serve as a contract worker. All pay, benefits, human resources claims, etc. will be overseen by the ProCare Therapy support staff.

Candidate Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Special Education OR a degree specific to teaching students with Special Needs.

- Previous experience in school setting is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

- Teacher will demonstrate a working knowledge of the pedagogy of education.
- Teacher will create lessons that are engaging and meet state standards to ensure that all students are able to access the curriculum.
- Teacher will provide differentiated instruction to students to ensure they are able to access the curriculum based on strengths and needs outlined in the students Individualized Education Plan.
- Teacher will monitor and report progress toward current IEP goals and work with service providers to identify areas to focus on moving forward.
- Teacher will maintain positive relationships with parents, administrators, grade level and content area teams, as well as service providers in order to create a collaborative setting where the students growth is in everyone's best interest.

- Applicants will be interviewed by the school or district department lead. The interview is typically a 30 minute Zoom call.
- The school/district may request a second interview where the applicant comes to campus.
