PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a highly skilled Machinist to join our team in Savannah, GA. In this role, you’ll support aerospace manufacturing by producing high-quality machine parts using CNC and manual equipment. If you're a detail-oriented professional with hands-on machining experience—and Mastercam programming skills—this is your opportunity to contribute to the innovation that keeps the aerospace industry soaring.

What You’ll Do

As a Machinist, your craftsmanship will be critical to fabricating metal components with precision and accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC and manual machines including lathes, mills, and grinders

• Programming machines using Mastercam and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work orders

• Measuring and selecting the right tools and materials for each job

• Inspecting completed parts to ensure they meet exacting specifications

• Documenting measurements, adjustments, and quality checks

• Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization of your work area

• Working with metal tubes, rods, and hand tools to machine parts per customer requirements

What You BringRequired Qualifications:

• Experience operating CNC and/or Lathe machines

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, calipers, and tape measures

• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills

• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses)

• Computer literacy and familiarity with digital systems

• Ability to interpret engineering plans and geometric dimensions (GD&T)

• Mastercam programming experience (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of CNC/Lathe machining experience

• Prior work in aerospace or high-tolerance manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and quality documentation

Pay Details: 29.00 per hour
