Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a highly skilled Machinist to join our team in Savannah, GA. In this role, you’ll support aerospace manufacturing by producing high-quality machine parts using CNC and manual equipment. What You’ll Do
As a Machinist, your craftsmanship will be critical to fabricating metal components with precision and accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:

Setting up and operating CNC and manual machines including lathes, mills, and grinders

Programming machines using Mastercam and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work orders

Measuring and selecting the right tools and materials for each job

Inspecting completed parts to ensure they meet exacting specifications

Documenting measurements, adjustments, and quality checks

Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization of your work area

Working with metal tubes, rods, and hand tools to machine parts per customer requirements
What You BringRequired Qualifications:

Experience operating CNC and/or Lathe machines
-
Proficiency in reading blueprints, calipers, and tape measures

Strong attention to detail and basic math skills

Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses)

Computer literacy and familiarity with digital systems

Ability to interpret engineering plans and geometric dimensions (GD&T)

Mastercam programming experience (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:

At least 1 year of CNC/Lathe machining experience

Prior work in aerospace or high-tolerance manufacturing environments

Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and quality documentation

Pay Details: 29.00 per hour
