Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
– Develop landscape design plans, including hardscape and softscape elements
– Create detailed drawings, sketches, and models using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, and Revit
– Select appropriate plants, trees, and materials for each project
– Coordinate with contractors and oversee the implementation of landscape designs
– Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
– Provide ongoing maintenance recommendations for landscapes
Experience:
– Proven experience in landscape design and project management
– Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, and Revit
– Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and materials suitable for different climates and environments
– Familiarity with hardscape design principles and techniques
– Ability to create detailed drawings, sketches, and models to communicate design concepts
– Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
– Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to landscaping projects
– Experience working with contracts and drafting legal documents related to landscape design projects
