ACUTE CARE – PER DIEM
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible to provide quality clinical care activities for pediatric patients (birth to 21) within the scope of practice as defined by the state of Florida and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team at the hospital and/or outpatient care centers. Demonstrate competency in evaluation and treatment, utilizing value-based care and evidenced based practices. Receives clinical review by the Rehab Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Certification as a SLP by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) within 12 months of employment
- Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Florida
- Excellent command of the English Language
Salary Range: Minimum 47.75 per hour – Maximum 47.75 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
