Job Description
As a Machinist, you will work with metal tubes, rods, and various hand tools to machine parts according to blueprints. Using CNC and Lathe machines, you will fabricate parts per customer requirements while adhering to written instructions and plans. You will inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and follow appropriate procedures to promote safety and ensure the quality of your work. At the end of your shift each day, you will be responsible for leaving your work area well organized.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and Lathe machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints and customer requirements.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Follow safety procedures to ensure quality work.
- Program and edit using MasterCam
Essential Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using computers.
- Ability to read tape measures and calipers.
- Ability to wear PPE without limitations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC and/or Lathe machines is a plus.
- Basic knowledge and experience of CNC/Lathe for at least 1 year.
- Experience in programming, particularly with MasterCam, is required.
Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled production machining environment, during the first shift. This is a contract position for six months

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 – $29.00/hr.
