Job Description
Our trusted client is an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to join our team on a long-term engagement. This hybrid role is located in Detroit, Michigan, this role is ideal for a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of financial reconciliations and accounting principles. The day-to-day responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations with precision and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Review and reconcile balance sheets to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Manage bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end closing processes.
