Location: Atascadero, CA | 20252026 School Year
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive school district in Atascadero, CA, to find a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to serve K-12 students for the 20252026 academic year. If you're passionate about student well-being and ready to make a real impact, this is your chance to do meaningful work in a collaborative, student-centered environmentwith the opportunity to renew for the following school year.
Position Details
- Job Title: Contract School Psychologist
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
- Contract Dates: August 13, 2025 June 5, 2026
- Location: Primarily high school; 13 school sites
- Employment Type: W2 Contract
- Compensation: Competitive and experience-based
- Payment: Weekly direct deposit
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to identify academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create and implement effective interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Support crisis response and facilitate positive behavioral supports
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape individualized education plans
- Maintain clear, compliant documentation and uphold ethical standards
Qualifications
- Masters degree in School Psychology
- Active California School Psychologist License
- Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- Experience with high school populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Discretion and professionalism when working with confidential information
