A dedicated and skilled professional is sought to support the academic and social-emotional needs of students in a K-12 environment. This full-time position for a talented specialist is focused on fostering a positive and productive educational atmosphere for approximately 110 middle and high school students.

Location:Westfield, MADuration:2025-2026 School Year (August 18, 2025 – June 25, 2026)Schedule:37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including initial assessments, annual reviews, and re-evaluations for students in grades 6-12.
  • Administer and interpret various psychological, intellectual, academic, and social-emotional assessments.
  • Write detailed evaluation reports that convey findings, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations tailored for intervention and educational planning.
  • Actively participate in team meetings (IEP, 504, eligibility meetings) to present evaluation results and collaborate on student support strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and other specialists to meet diverse student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts Licensure/Credentials as a School Psychologist.
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Experience with middle and high school-aged students preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education law, psychological assessment best practices, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school locations.
