The Social Value Implementation Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social value initiatives that align with our company’s strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, measuring the impact of social value projects, and ensuring that all activities support our mission of creating positive social change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for Head of Social Value.
- Manage a team including a Social Value Copy Writer, Researcher, Impact Analyst, and Team Administrator, fostering collaboration.
- Develop, implement, manage, and report on the Ridge Sustainability Impact Programme, including the Ridge Community Investment Fund.
- Monitor programme progress monthly against KPIs.
- Implement governance for the Community Investment Fund.
- Manage social value reporting across all frameworks.
- Work with the Head of Social Value to develop and promote consultancy services in social value and impact.
- Manage the social value program budget.
- Promote social value initiatives internally and externally.
- Develop and oversee the Ridge Social Value Network of social impact champions.
- Engage staff and promote opportunities for social value activities.
- Coordinate with Communications and Marketing for storytelling and newsletters.
- Identify new opportunities for social value creation across operations.
- Promote volunteering activities with charity partners.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on social value impacts.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Passion for social value, stakeholder communication skills, and experience in social value activities are essential.
- Relevant roles include Social Value Manager, Responsible Business Lead, CSR professional, or similar.
- Skills include knowledge of social value measurement frameworks (e.g., HACT, SVS, TOMs), UN SDGs, data analysis, project management, and stakeholder influence.
- Qualifications include a degree in Social Sciences, Business, Environmental Studies, or related fields.
