Join a global leader in bio-solutions as a Production Lead, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing production operations for products like yogurt and animal feed. You will be responsible for managing a team of production associates and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 5-8 production associates during shifts.
- Set up and operate various machines in the department.
- Perform slight troubleshooting of equipment.
- Manually clean machines during product changeovers.
- Lift and load up to 50lb bags of raw materials into hoppers.
- Train and assist operators in running various machines.
- Learn and apply proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices.
- Take and verify documentation of production runs.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- 4+ years of general production experience.
- 1+ years of GMP experience.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Experience in overseeing 5-8 people.
- Knowledge of GMP, sanitation, mixing/blending, and production supervision.

Work Environment
Twilight Shift Hours: 7 on/7 off – Monday to Friday (11pm – 9am), Saturday & Sunday (9pm to 9am). The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, requiring GMP attire including a hair net, beard net, smock, steel toes, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses. The atmosphere is low key, with no smells and a moderate pace, though you may occasionally work in a deep freezer at -55 Celsius.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 – $64480.00/yr.
