New Local Opportunity!
On behalf of our client, BBSI is seeking a Window and Door Installer to join a well-established team in the area.
As a Window and Door Installer, you will be responsible for performing both routine and complex window and door installations and deliveries. This includes loading materials for each job, planning ahead for tools and equipment needed, and troubleshooting installation challenges as they arise. You’ll work closely with the Lead Installer and consult as needed to ensure high-quality results.
A successful Installer will also complete a final walkthrough of the job site to ensure customer satisfaction and confirm that all tools and materials have been accounted for.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Install replacement windows, door systems, insulated glass units, service parts and shower doors to the standards set forth by Mountain View Window & Door and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all products installed and are in proper working order before leaving the jobsite.
- Uses various hand and power tools to install products.
- Vision to see the job, plan the course of work and safely execute the plan to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to coworkers with detailed notes on job completion forms.
- Ability to determine priorities and organize work assignments for the best efficiency.
- Confirm details of proposed installation with customer prior to starting installation and explain installation process in simple terms to establish trust and confidence with the customer.
- Be a proactive problem solver. Successfully handle on-site issues, make decisions, solve problems, and create solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Stay up to date on installation techniques and product offerings.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
- Paint trim prior to installation as needed.
- Make jobsite deliveries with all products counted on the truck and counted off the truck.
- Restock warehouse trim and products. Notify the office when products are low in inventory.
- Ensure that tools and work-related equipment are kept in safe and good working order. Notify supervisor when a replacement is needed.
- Take before and after pictures of all jobs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Candidates must possess 1-2 years of experience in window and door installation or a related field.
- Must possess and maintain a valid and insurable driver’s license.
- Participate in manually loading and unloading products by repetitive lifting of up to 90 lbs.
- No fears of heights, working on ladders or roofs.
- Proficient use of tape measure and all power tools.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment year-round.
- Able to work and think independently and ensure deadlines are met.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Pay/Schedule:
- $20.00-$25.00 an hour; DOE
- Full time
- Monday through Friday; 40 hours
