Job Description
Beacon Hill Financial is looking for an eager and motivated Payroll Specialist for one of our clients located in Portland, OR. You could not work for a better company, team, management or with more incredible peers. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for duties such as multi-state / multi-entity payroll processing, multiple payroll processing timelines, maintaining employee records, importing files, ad hoc projects and more. You will be challenged, yet feel rewarded and recognized in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify timekeeping data for each employee.
- Process biweekly payroll for 500 employees across multiple states, including OR, WA, ID, HI, CA, and others.
- Handle payroll for both salaried and hourly staff.
- Calculate and manage various payroll deductions, such as garnishments.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll data and make necessary adjustments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Enter payroll details into the payroll system.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports.
- Provide support for Accounts Payable processing as needed.
