Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Print Technician to serve as the primary onsite contact for equipment support and service delivery. This role involves resolving print-related issues, maintaining and supporting print devices, managing consumables, and ensuring optimal device functionality through proactive service and training. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting print equipment, managing customer relationships, and performing both hardware and software-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  2. Serve as the primary customer contact for onsite equipment support and service.
  3. Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes as requested by the client.
  4. Provide on-going end-user training on printing equipment and software functionality.
  5. Service Delivery & Technical Support:
  6. Perform basic device cleaning and replace operator-accessible parts and consumables.
  7. Conduct break-fix activities (comprising approximately 70% of the role).
  8. Download and install printer drivers and map devices to end-user PCs.
  9. Perform basic diagnosis of printer and multifunctional device issues.
  10. Configure network settings such as IP addresses, scanning templates, and user access levels.
  11. Monitor and apply necessary software patches and updates.
  12. Provide support for non-Client devices as needed.
  13. Escalate advanced network or device issues to appropriate IT resources.
  14. Coordinate removal or delivery of new devices.
  15. Assist with remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and solve device issues via Client  tools.
Inventory & Reporting:
  1. Maintain accurate service call records using Client systems.
  2. Manage onsite consumables using the DOS calculator.
  3. Collect and report device meter readings for billing purposes.
  4. Track activity and assets using internal systems (e.g., PM4).
  5. Maintain an onsite inventory of operator-replaceable parts.
Required Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1–2 years of experience resolving printing equipment issues and providing customer support.
  3. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  5. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  6. Capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Basic understanding of IP configuration, device setup, and print networking.
  8. Familiarity with basic problem-solving and diagnostic procedures for printing equipment.
  9. Competent in physical and remote device management.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)
  1. Previous experience working with Client or similar enterprise print solutions.
  2. Knowledge of Client -specific tools and web-based service applications.
  3. Experience with service call tracking systems and remote device management tools.
  4. Basic knowledge of print infrastructure or IT service desk support.
Certifications (if any)
  1. Client  training certifications (if applicable).
  2. OEM-specific certifications for printers or multifunctional devices (preferred but not required).
