Job Description
An Order Picker works in a warehouse to gather the appropriate items to fulfill incoming orders. They're responsible for locating objects on shelves, packing them, and transporting them to trucks or shipping containers.
STRONG attention to detail is a MUST
and at least 1+ year of experience as a picker.
Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators at a new Manufacturing and Distribution facility in Austin, TX. In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.
Responsibilities
- Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
- Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner.
- Learn our inventory management system and enter materials transactions.
- Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Desire to learn and utilize manufacturing warehouse equipment, with 1 year of shipping or receiving experience (preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience operating a forklift (sit down or stand up) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures
