Seeking a Clinical Pediatric NurseManager in Brooklyn NY to play a vital leadership role in coordinating thedelivery of high-quality care to pediatric residents and patients. Thisposition is responsible for developing and implementing unit-specific policiesand procedures, fostering a supportive and collaborative care environment, andmaintaining day-to-day operational excellence in partnership with staff and theinterdisciplinary team. The Nurse Manager is accountable for ensuring clinicalcompetency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the pediatricunit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the pediatric unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
  • Coordinate nursing care and manage staffing, scheduling, and performance oversight for nursing personnel.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet the complex needs of pediatric patients.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures specific to pediatric care delivery.
  • Support continuous staff education, clinical development, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff while promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program – required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – required
  • Pediatric experience in an acute or long-term care setting – preferred
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Manager or in a supervisory role – preferred
  • Ventilator care experience – preferred
  • Current New York State RN license – required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – preferred
