Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client’s team on a temporary to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, inventory management, and leadership. This role involves overseeing the AR and AP departments, managing a team of four, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the AR and AP teams.

Handle month-end close processes, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate COGS reporting.

Assist with AR deductions, short pays, and chargebacks.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Provide training and support to team members.

Report directly to the CFO.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of inventory management and COGS.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation:
