Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join our dedicated team in Crystal Lake, IL, and make a significant impact on student communication development! We are open to both experienced SLPs and enthusiastic Clinical Fellows (CFs).

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated SLP to manage a diverse caseload:

  • Early Childhood: Starting with approximately 15 students, with the potential to support up to 35 students maximum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for early childhood students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with student needs and state regulations.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services addressing a wide range of communication disorders (e.g., articulation, phonology, language, fluency, voice, social communication).
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois.
  • Must possess a Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking their supervised professional experience.
  • On-site presence is required.
  • Experience with early childhood is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
