Special Education Teacher (Hiring Immediately)

Qualifications:

• Valid GA PSC Certified Special Education Teacher credential
• Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly those with special needs
• Strong case management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and other support staff
• Knowledge of IEP processes and implementation

Location:Dalton, GA

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 6 students with IEPs in the general education classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as required
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and team members regarding student development and needs
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
