The role focuses on providing essential psychological assessments and support within a K-12 educational environment, specifically for students in the Dual Language Immersion program.

Qualifications:

• Valid school psychologist license or certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) principles.
• Experience conducting evaluations and assessments in educational settings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrative staff.

Location: Hillsboro, OR (Northeast of Portland)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred for initial assessments, providing insights into their educational needs.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to implement and monitor RTI strategies.
• Prepare and present reports detailing evaluation findings and remended interventions.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other school-related conferences as required.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on up to five evaluations throughout the school year, ensuring timely and thorough assessment processes.
