An exciting opportunity is available for skilled professionals in the field of school psychology. This position is set in a vibrant munity located northeast of Portland, alongside the scenic Columbia River. The role focuses on providing essential psychological assessments and support within a K-12 educational environment, specifically for students in the Dual Language Immersion program.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist license or certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) principles.
- Experience conducting evaluations and assessments in educational settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrative staff.
Location: Hillsboro, OR (Northeast of Portland)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred for initial assessments, providing insights into their educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement and monitor RTI strategies.
- Prepare and present reports detailing evaluation findings and remended interventions.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other school-related conferences as required.
- Manage a caseload with a focus on up to five evaluations throughout the school year, ensuring timely and thorough assessment processes.
