COTA Coachella, CA (Hiring Immediately)

We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team, providing services to preschool-aged students. This full-time position guarantees 40 hours per week and involves assisting in assessments as well as direct therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to preschool students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Assist in conducting and supporting assessments to identify students' functional needs and help develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and early childhood developmental milestones
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support students participation and success in the classroom
• Track student progress, document services provided, and municate findings to the supervising OT and educational team
• Adapt activities and environments to meet the needs of individual students

Requirements:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in CA
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong munication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to assist in both direct services and assessments
• Passion for working with young children and their families
