Job Description
An opportunity is available for a part-time School Psychologist to support an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Kennewick, WA. This contract position runs for the 2024-2025 school year, from August 26 through June 11, offering flexible hours to acmodate work-life balance.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 60-70 students, conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). Collaboration is key; responsibilities include scheduling and leading meetings, as well as active participation in building referral meetings to support student needs and facilitate interventions.
Key qualifications and desired experience include:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or credential in Washington State
- Experience conducting prehensive evaluations and FBAs in elementary settings
- Strong organizational and munication skills for managing caseload and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours effectively
- Familiarity with child development and educational psychology best practices
